Amazon is the largest online retailer in the US. It sells electronics, clothing, home goods, books, toys, beauty products, groceries, and more- all from one account. You can buy directly from Amazon or from third-party sellers listed on the same platform. Prices and deals change daily. This page covers current Amazon promo codes and other ways to save on your order.
Amazon processes purchases through its own checkout. The promo code field appears on the payment screen, not in the cart.
Add your items to your Amazon cart.
Click Proceed to checkout.
Sign in to your Amazon account or create one. The promo code field only appears once you are logged in.
On the payment screen, scroll to the Gift cards & promotional codes section. It sits above the place order button.
Type or paste your Amazon promo code into the field.
Click Apply. The order summary on the right side of the screen will update immediately if the code is valid.
If the total has not changed, the code has not applied. Do not place the order until you see the discount reflected.
Complete your purchase.
Once you've found a working code, entering it only takes a second.
Amazon codes are almost always built around a specific category or product set. A code might look sitewide but only cover electronics, or only work on items from one brand. If nothing in your cart matches what the code is actually for, the total will not change.
Amazon's site has listings from thousands of independent sellers. A code issued by Amazon usually only covers items that Amazon itself sells and ships. If the product page says "Sold by (seller name)" or "Fulfilled by Merchant," the code most likely will not apply to it.
Amazon sends certain promo codes directly to individual customers by email. That code is tied to that one account. If you paste it into a different account at checkout, it will not work and Amazon will not tell you why.
Some Amazon codes are one-time use for the whole platform, not per person. If another shopper has already redeemed it, the code is dead. It will show as invalid even if you have never touched it before.
Some codes need your eligible items to reach a set value before the discount kicks in. Adding random items to hit that number will not always help the extra items have to qualify under the same code terms too.
Amazon codes have a cutoff date and sometimes a cutoff time. A code that worked this morning may already be gone by the afternoon.
Amazon has a dedicated Coupons page where you can browse and clip digital coupons across categories including groceries, beauty, electronics, and household items. You clip the coupon on the product page or the Coupons page. The discount applies automatically at checkout when you add the item to your cart.
Subscribe & Save lets you set up recurring deliveries on eligible products. You save on each delivery. Subscribing to five or more items shipped to one address in a single month increases the savings further. Household essentials, personal care, and grocery items are common Subscribe & Save categories.
Students with a valid college email address can sign up for Prime Student. It gives access to Prime benefits at a reduced membership rate and includes a free trial period before billing starts.
Lightning Deals are time-limited offers on specific products. They run throughout the day on Amazon's Deals page. Prime members get 30-minute early access to Lightning Deals before they open to non-members.
The Amazon Outlet section lists overstock and clearance items across multiple categories at reduced prices. No code is needed. Items are sold while stock lasts.
Amazon Warehouse sells open-box, returned, and refurbished items at lower prices than new. Products are graded by condition. Free returns apply to most Warehouse items for Prime members.
Amazon's Today's Deals page lists all current Amazon online deals and Amazon special offers across categories. It updates daily and includes both Amazon-run promotions and third-party seller deals.
Amazon runs major seasonal deal events including Prime Day, Prime Big Deal Days, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday. These are the biggest Amazon sale windows of the year. Amazon money-saving deals during these events cover almost every category on the platform.
Coupondopa US lists current Amazon promo codes and verified Amazon coupons. Checking the page before purchasing takes a few seconds and could save you money if an active code applies to your order.
Prime members get free shipping on millions of items, including same-day, one-day, and two-day delivery options depending on location and item availability.
Non-Prime members qualify for free standard shipping on qualifying orders. The exact threshold varies by location. Standard shipping takes 5 to 8 business days on qualifying orders. Subscribe & Save orders ship free for Prime members.
Most items sold and fulfilled by Amazon can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Items must be in original or unused condition to qualify.
To start a return, go to Your Orders in your Amazon account, select the item, and choose Return Items.
Some categories have different return windows. Electronics must be returned within 14 days of delivery. Some items, including perishables, customized products, digital content, and items marked as Final Sale, are not eligible for return.
For items sold by third-party sellers, the return policy shown on the product listing applies. It may differ from Amazon's standard 30-day window.
Amazon extends its return window for most items purchased between November 1 and December 31. Those items can be returned until January 31 of the following year.
